Once upon a time, during the Third Era,
There was an island, where prosperity ruled.
Airlevan was its name,
And glorious its fate.

Rak tournaments to decide,
Who will rule over the land.

There were no rules within the fights,
Except for one for the crowd.
Silent they must remain,
Or grief shall be set for them.

Isdraelle, spark of light in her eyes,
With her father went to see the marvels,
Of the raks and their powers,
Where rainbows colored the skies.

And she dreamt of competing,
Dreams of invoking her very own beast.

Diving the sky, the raks twirled the wind,
Imaginations of magic and might,
Warriors united, fighting their fights,
Hoping to be the next king.

But there was only one who could win,
And the throne was already his,
Verthion and his Perpetual Night,
Wouldn’t hesitate to kill.

The same governor used to rule,
A red-eyed beast was his weapon of choice,

Crushed his enemies if they’d oppose,
Leaving their lives empty without a voice.
